About Us

We are of German descent, so the name’s fitting (“Oma” is German for grandma).

Our Story

After moving to the States, we’ve found a way to share our love of German style baking with you all.   I’m an Oma of a handful of children, so baking is one of my passions.  Making and eating breads are essential to our household and our business.   As our operation grows, we look forward to making it a family-oriented business.

We are family owned restaurant with Oma as baker, Opa front of house, our son Jimmy is a German trained chef, daughter as baker, daughter-in-law works in kitchen, grandkids work variety of positions, and a wonderful group of hired staff.
